Terms and Conditions.
We welcome the return to providing our wedding car services and we have implemented a number of safety measures to keep both our customers and our staff safe.
We have established deep cleaning measures to ensure every car is thoroughly sanitised including using a disinfectant fog machine. We will pay particular attention to any surface which our customers or staff may come into contact with.
Our cars have now been fitted with a Perspex/glass partition in order to separate the driver from the passengers. Unfortunately, we have not been able to fit a safety screen to our Royale windsor and are therefore not able to use it at present.
We have had to remove the use of the front passenger seat beside the driver in all of our vehicles. This means that any of our 7 seaters can now only carry a maximum of 6 passengers and any of our Bridal cars can only carry a maximum of 5 passengers.
There is no requirement to wear a face covering at present and will leave it to the discretion of our customers and drivers if they wish to wear one. We will continue to listen to any updated government advice about this and will change our policy accordingly.
Our drivers will continue to provide our usual friendly and professional service. The main difference to this service is that we will not be able to have any physical contact with passengers. This includes assisting passengers getting in and out of our cars or looking after or carrying passengers’ personal belongings.

We can’t provide any drinks due to not having an alcohol licence. We can provide an ice bucket and glasses for the bride and groom if they wish to supply there own.

Cancellation of a confirmed booking will result in forfeiture of your deposit. If you cancel your booking within 8 weeks of the hire date then 50% of the hire charge is payable. If you cancel your booking within 4 weeks of the hire date then 100% of the hire charge is payable. Barringtons Wedding Cars recommends that you consider cancellation insurance to cover the charges above. However, Barringtons Wedding Cars does not offer such insurance. Delays & Breakdowns
Where the driver considers that an event may present a danger to the passengers or vehicle, he will stop and may abandon the journey. Whilst we make every effort to keep our vehicles in good order unforeseen events can arise. If the car you have booked develops a fault that cannot be rectified in a timely manner a second vehicle will be dispatched as a replacement if available. If the value of the replacement vehicle is less than the hired vehicle the difference will be refunded, if the value of the replacement is greater there will be no extra charge added. It is the hirer’s decision whether to accept a replacement. If this option is not accepted by the hirer then a full refund will be issued and our liability will be no further. In an emergency, we may attempt to provide alternative transport from 3rd party companies but where we do, the 3rd party’s terms and conditions must be adhered to. Whilst every effort is taken in finding the best routes for your journey circumstances beyond our control may arise.
